Miss Wendy has been teaching dance since 1987. She began her own training in America at the age of 7 yrs. From the age of 12 Wendy, attended dance schools in the U.K and in her late teens, studied at the well known Laine Theatre Arts, in Epsom, Surrey.
During her career Wendy has appeared in numerous theatrical productions including Musicals, Pantomimes, Music Halls, Cabarets and Plays.
Working on several popular T.V. series and Dramas, Wendy has appeared with many well known names including: Roy Castle, Ruby Murray, Miriam Margoyles, Ian McShane, Martin Shaw, Sue Pollard, Russ Abbot, Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rothwell, Martin Kemp and Gordon Kaye - to name just a few!
In her role as a choreographer Wendy has choreographed well over 50 productions, ranging from musicals to pantomimes.
As Principal and founder of Dizzy’s, Wendy and her team strive to give all students the best possible all round training. They aim to bring out the best in each individual, therefore giving them all an excellent grounding for their future careers.
MISS AMIE ELSEGOOD A.B.A.T.D
Miss Amie took her first dancing class at the tender age of 2! She has trained with Miss Wendy since childhood, and also completed a two year BTEC National Diploma in Dance at the College of West Anglia. She qualified with the B.AT.D. in 2006 and now teaches at Dizzy’s. She has appeared in numerous dance shows both amateur and professional
MISS RACHEL WINNER A.B.A.T.D
Miss Rachel qualified with the B.A.T.D. in 2012 and is now teaching at Dizzy’s. Miss Rachel was taught by Miss Wendy and also completed a two year BTEC National Diploma In Dance at the College of West Anglia. Over the years Rachel has taken part in many festivals and competitions and has performed in numerous productions both amateur and professional, including some lead singing roles. She has appeared in several professional pantomimes as dancer/dance captain.
